Hall Sensors

A common reason motors don't work is that a hall sensor has gone bad. These sensors act as a switch to let the controller when it detects a magnetic field so the controller can send voltage to the phase wires at the correct time.

Internal Gears

When an ebike makes an internal grinding noise but doesn't move, it may have worn out nylon gears. We're happy to fix that for you.

The most common motor issue we see is cut motor wires. We can replace the motor wires even if the wire is cut flush at the axle.

Cell Rebuild

If the original cells are weak or corroded and cannot be restored well, we rebuild the battery pack with all new cells. We use brand new Panasonic 18650 cells. We never build with reclaimed cells.

BMS replacement

The BMS is often a point of failure. We generally replace them when they are bad. Some companies use a proprietary BMS that is not available for purchase or would take a month to ship. In these cases, we can often do board-level repair on the BMS.

We make sure each cell group is balanced. There are rare occasions where cell balancing is all that is needed.

How long repairs take?

Our average turnaround time is just 10 days from receipt, plus shipping time. We default to USPS ground, but can expedite shipping as desired (note that lithium batteries can not go by air).

Do you offer warranties?

While we don’t have a strict warranty policy, we work closely with partners to resolve any issues fairly and promptly. We have over 300 5-star reviews for good reason.
